What's your hidden talent?
That's the question at the heart of our new interactive exhibition, "TALENTOPIA – The Hands-On Exhibition", at the Labyrinth Children's Museum in Berlin, from May 18 2025.
In TALENTOPIA, children discover their own personal talents. Art, music, logic, movement, language, or social skills; in our exhibition, every child can find out just what makes them special! Each exhibition area is an invitation to experiment, and to learn that talents are colorful, diverse – and grow through curiosity, practice, and, above all, having fun!
Kindergarten, school group or family visit: TALENTOPIA is aimed at children aged 3 to 11 and offers creative play and learning activities to boost confidence and encourage shared discovery.
Exhibition Areas in the Colourful World of TALENTOPIA
Welcome
Let's go! In the welcome area, children can jump right into our world of talents. A specially developed Activity Search Engine inspires children to play along, and to approach the exhibition with curiosity and an open mind.
Move it!
Twist, twiddle, and turn: here's your chance to build with other children! Using our popular construction crane, children on the Talent Building Site make cities out of cardboard tubes, boxes, and oodles of imagination. Teamwork makes the dream work!
Makes Sense!
Puzzle, tinker, think! In the Control Centre, children practice logical thinking – and learn the principles of programming along the way. Analog, of course!
Picture This!
Colours, shapes, imagination! This area is all about creative design. Try out the different surfaces of our work table or sample what's on offer at the art materials bar.
In Other Words
Language is a game! Check out the syllable challenge, the wheel of fortune or our activity sheets, and let the world of words, stories and thoughts open up to children of all ages in the most creative way!
CANteen
Music is in the air, and in everyday objects too! In the CANteen, bottles and dishwasher parts play the role of instruments. Sounds crazy? Sounds good!
