Do adults also need to take off their shoes?

Yes, everyone must remove their shoes before entering. For hygiene reasons, the exhibition area cannot be accessed with outdoor shoes. Especially during colder months, please bring slippers, grip socks, or indoor gym shoes. If you forget, you can borrow shoe covers at the ticket desk for a €5 deposit.

Can I buy the amazing costumes from the exhibition?

Can I get coffee or snacks on-site?

Our museum café is open on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during school breaks from 11 AM to 4 PM. You can enjoy sweet and savory snacks, coffee, tea, and cold beverages. Please note that the café only accepts cash. Outside café hours, cold drinks are available at the ticket desk.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes! However, food and drinks are only allowed in the café area or on the break staircase ("Pausentreppe").

My child has mobility restrictions. Can we still visit the museum?

Wheelchairs and strollers can usually only be used on the ground floor. Our staff will gladly assist with transporting a wheelchair to the first floor if needed.
