What happens during a birthday party at Labyrinth?

Our birthday parties (except "The Small Party") follow a flexible schedule. Each party includes a short introduction, birthday song, cake time, and the selected birthday program ("Wilde Welt," "Papieraten," or "Nachts im Museum") with an exhibition tour. The event concludes with a gathering in the large birthday room. For detailed information about your selected format, contact our birthday coordination team.

Do we need to bring decorations?

No, our team decorates the table with reusable items to minimize waste (no balloons, confetti, or disposable tableware).

Is food provided?

No, but a fully equipped kitchen is available, including a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee machine. Time for eating is included in every program.

Can we purchase coffee on-site?

During museum café hours (Saturday, Sunday, holidays, 11 AM – 4 PM), coffee is available. A coffee machine is also provided in the large birthday room’s kitchen; bring coffee and filters if you wish to use it.

Can guests bring gifts?

Yes, gift-giving is part of the birthday program.

Can we access the birthday room earlier?

You may enter the room 5 minutes before your scheduled time. If special arrangements are needed (e.g., for deliveries), please contact us in advance.

Can we extend our stay in the birthday room?

Unfortunately, no. After your party, the room must be prepared for the next event. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Can we bring alcohol for the parents?

No alcohol is permitted in the museum or on its premises.

Does the birthday include an exhibition tour?

Yes, a guided tour of the current exhibition is part of the birthday program.

What is the current exhibition?

Until May 4, 2025, children can explore our environmental exhibition, "Naturally Today! Get Involved for Tomorrow." Learn more about this exhibition on our website.

How many guests can attend?

Depending on the price category, parties can host up to 11 or 15 participants, including the birthday child and up to four adults. Recommendation: Invite one child for each year of age (e.g., 5 guests for a 5-year-old).

Can we extend or access the room earlier?

No, the room is only available during your scheduled time to allow preparation for other parties. However, you’re welcome to explore the exhibition for as long as you like.

Why is the guest limit 10 people?

The room accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, with space for the table and place settings.
