Stadt - Land - Klima (City - Country - Climate): Climate Scavenger Hunt for School Classes (Grades 3 to 6)

What is Climate Change, and How Does It Impact Our City?

Climate change is a global topic, but what does it really mean? How does it influence life in a city or neighborhood? In our guided scavenger hunt, "Stadt - Land - Klima (City - Country - Climate)," students in grades 3 to 6 will delve into these questions and explore concrete ideas and solutions for combating climate change in Berlin-Wedding.

During this interactive tour, children will discover innovative ways that local residents are addressing climate change right in their neighborhood.

What Can Your Class Expect During the Climate Scavenger Hunt?

The guided route leads through the vibrant Wedding neighborhood around the Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin and includes stops at:

  • Green spaces and planted areas
  • The bustling Osloer Straße
  • Urban gardening projects

Students will learn about CO₂ emissions, extreme weather events (such as heat waves and heavy rain), urbanization, public spaces, and creating livable cities in an engaging and hands-on way.
